I am a Pediatrician working and studying autism spectrum disorders since October 2003. I was initially trained by Dr. Lilia Negrón, a pioneer and founder of the study, diagnosis, and treatment of autism spectrum disorders in Venezuela and founder of Sovenia. Since 2004, I have had the opportunity to further my training in the United States through various specialized courses at the Autism Research Institute. I am also a professor in the Diploma Program on Autism Spectrum Disorders at the Faculty of Medicine at the Central University of Venezuela.
Currently, I work at NutriWhite alongside an excellent team of nutritionists who help me support my clients from a nutritional and digestive perspective, aiming to establish a healthy life from childhood, prevent many conditions, and also assist in the treatment of children and adults within the autism spectrum disorders. This field requires daily research and study on my part to stay up-to-date with new studies, scientific advancements, treatment modalities, and their practical application to each individual.
I start my day with a coffee, enjoying the view of Ávila and thanking God, asking for His help to be useful to others. I really enjoy spending time with my family, which is the most important thing to me. I love reading, both medical literature and other topics such as history and biographies. Whenever I can, I escape to the beach.
