I enjoy going to the beach, the mountains, parks, and even the Venezuelan plains with my husband and my 3- and 5-year-old children. I’m fascinated by a black coffee in the morning, having a checklist, and achieving daily goals. Order is key in my life, and I love learning from my patients every day. To maintain my title as a Board Certified Holistic Nutritionist in the USA, I must update my knowledge annually, so I stay informed about the latest advancements to provide the best tools to the NutriWhite community.

more than just taking folic acid.

- Supplementing with active folate:
More than just taking folic acid supplements, we recommend looking for options with active folate or 5-MTHF, an essential nutrient to prevent nausea and ensure the healthy development of the baby's neural tube. - Proteins and healthy fats:
Increase the intake of lean proteins and healthy fats like avocado, nuts, and olive oil to support early growth.

- Baby's strengthening:
Quality proteins like lean meats and small fish are essential. You can include some dairy products from goat, sheep, or buffalo, as long as they are pasteurized. - Vitamins and minerals:

MSc. Carol Rodríguez
I greatly enjoy learning, experimenting, and trying activities that push me out of my comfort zone, as well as those that lead me to introspection and self-awareness.
Although healthy eating, exercise, and connection with nature have been part of my life since I was a child, to the point that they later became my profession, it was my celiac disease diagnosis that most motivated me to expand my vision of nutrition and the importance of addressing health from an immunonutrition perspective.
This has also helped me understand how crucial it is to stay updated in this ever-changing field, not only to apply it with my clients but also with myself.
In consultation, I really enjoy listening, building the clinical case like a detective, and explaining to the client what is happening from the perspective of immunonutrition.
With all this, I create an action plan that focuses on habit changes, a nutrition plan, supporting supplements, and specialized tests, so that the client receives a comprehensive and integrative approach that addresses their reasons for consultation and their health conditions.
