Pro-tient

Patient is associated with a state of passivity and inactive waiting. We want them to be pro-tients, meaning proactive—paying attention to their symptoms, going to the root cause, researching, questioning, and acting. In short, taking control of their health.

Friendly Foods

These are foods that are easy for your intestine to digest.

Enemy Foods

They are foods that are difficult for your intestine to digest, inflame it, and may contribute to the development of diseases. The most common enemy foods are: cereals and their derivatives, dairy and its derivatives, and sugars and processed foods.

3R Protocol

It consists of «Removing» foods that are difficult for your intestine to digest, where 70% of your immune system is located, «Replenishing» with friendly foods that are easier to digest and absorb, allowing you to «Restore» your health through Immunonutrition.

Leaky Gut

When your meals are high in foods that are difficult for your intestine to digest, it becomes inflamed and permeable, allowing poorly digested food particles to pass through, which can cause overall inflammation.

Wheat Gluten

Wheat gluten, or gliadin, is a protein that can cause damage to the intestine and trigger symptoms such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, and extra-intestinal symptoms like fatigue, allergies, migraines, among others.

Bioavailability

Bioavailability refers to the amount and speed at which a drug or active substance is absorbed and becomes available for its action in the body after administration.

Gluten-Free Diet

A gluten-free diet is one that excludes any food or ingredient derived from cereals such as wheat, barley, rye, oats, corn, rice, sorghum, millet, and teff, as they contain gluten—a protein that can be difficult to digest for the intestine, where 70% of the immune system is located.

Micronutrients

Micronutrients are essential chemical substances required for the proper functioning of the body in small amounts. These nutrients include vitamins and minerals, which play a fundamental role in metabolism, growth and development, as well as in disease prevention.

Intestinal Dysbiosis

Intestinal dysbiosis refers to an imbalance in the composition of the gut microbiota, meaning the quantity and diversity of microorganisms that live in our intestines. This imbalance can be caused by various factors, such as poor diet, excessive use of antibiotics, stress, among others.

Chronic Diseases

Chronic diseases are long-term health disorders that generally progress slowly and persist over an extended period of time, with an inflammatory origin. These diseases can be either physical or mental in nature and may require ongoing management and long-term care.

Allergens

Allergens are substances that trigger an allergic reaction in sensitive individuals. These substances can include foods, pollen, dust mites, pet dander, chemicals, among others.

Good Cholesterol

Good cholesterol, also known as high-density lipoprotein (HDL), is a molecule found in the body that plays a fundamental role in cardiovascular health.

Peptides

Peptides are molecules formed by the union of two or more amino acids through peptide bonds. They play important roles in the body, such as regulating cellular activity, transmitting signals, and contributing to protein structure.

Gut Microbiota

The gut microbiota refers to the community of microorganisms that inhabit the gastrointestinal tract of humans. These microorganisms include bacteria, viruses, fungi, and other microorganisms that play a crucial role in the health and functioning of the digestive system.

Immunity

Immunity is the ability of the organism to resist and combat the action of pathogens, such as harmful bacteria, viruses, and parasites, thus preventing the onset of diseases.

Prebiotics

Prebiotics are non-digestible substances found in certain foods that promote the growth and activity of beneficial bacteria in the gut. These substances act as food for probiotic bacteria, stimulating their development and strengthening the gut microbiota.

Cancer

Cancer is a disease characterized by the uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells in any part of the body. These abnormal cells can invade and destroy nearby tissues and organs, and they can also spread to other parts of the body through the lymphatic or blood systems.

Mental health refers to a person's emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It includes the ability to manage stress, relate healthily to others, make appropriate decisions, and effectively face life's challenges.

Iron
