Brussels Sprouts with Bacon Recipe

Delicious Brussels sprouts wrapped in crispy bacon, perfect as a side dish or a main course.

Ingredients

     
  • Brussels sprouts
  • Pork bacon
  • Himalayan pink salt
  • Ground cumin

Preparation

  • Wash the Brussels sprouts and remove any damaged leaves.
  • Trim the stem ends slightly.
  • Bring a pot of water to a boil with Himalayan salt and a touch of cumin.
  • Once the water is boiling, add the Brussels sprouts and boil for 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Remove the sprouts from the hot water and let them cool for a few minutes.
  • Cut each bacon strip in half and wrap each sprout with half a strip.
  • Secure the bacon with a wooden toothpick.
  • Place the wrapped sprouts on a baking tray and broil for about 5 to 6 minutes on each side, keeping an eye on them to prevent burning.
  • Once the bacon is golden and crispy, remove the tray from the oven.
  • Serve hot, either as a side dish or a main course.
  • An alternative method is to grill them, also supervising the cooking time to avoid burning.
