Ingredients
- 1 green apple
- 1/3 cup of mixed nuts
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon of honey
Preparation
- Process all the ingredients except the honey.
- Don’t let it turn into a powder; keep some chunks for added crunch when baked.
- Mix with the honey and set aside.
- Wash the apple, cut it in half, remove the core, and make a "hole" where you can place most of the nut mixture.
- Place the apple halves on a baking tray, cover with aluminum foil, and bake for 20 minutes at 150°C.
- For the first 10 minutes, keep it covered with aluminum foil.
- Remove the foil and bake for 10 more minutes (be careful not to let it burn! Depending on your oven, it might take less time).
- Serve while still hot.
- Recipe for two people.
