Individual Apple Crumbles Recipe

Enjoy a delicious and crunchy apple filled with caramelized nuts, baked to perfection.

Ingredients

     
  • 1 green apple
  • 1/3 cup of mixed nuts
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon of honey

Preparation

  • Process all the ingredients except the honey.
  • Don’t let it turn into a powder; keep some chunks for added crunch when baked.
  • Mix with the honey and set aside.
  • Wash the apple, cut it in half, remove the core, and make a "hole" where you can place most of the nut mixture.
  • Place the apple halves on a baking tray, cover with aluminum foil, and bake for 20 minutes at 150°C.
  • For the first 10 minutes, keep it covered with aluminum foil.
  • Remove the foil and bake for 10 more minutes (be careful not to let it burn! Depending on your oven, it might take less time).
  • Serve while still hot.
  • Recipe for two people.
