Enjoy juicy oven-roasted pork chops glazed in a delicious sauce made with balsamic vinegar, honey, and spices.


Ingredients
- 4 pork chops
- 1 tbsp ghee
- 50 ml balsamic vinegar
- 1 ½ tbsp honey (optional, NOT for ketogenic diets)
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- A pinch of oregano
- A pinch of thyme
- A pinch of basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
- Season the pork chops with salt and pepper to taste.
- Melt the ghee in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the pork chops and sear on both sides until golden.
- Transfer the chops to a baking tray and bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
- In the same skillet used for searing, add the balsamic vinegar, honey, garlic, a pinch of oregano, thyme, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Stir well over medium heat until it comes to a boil.
- Once the sauce boils, lower the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Remove the chops from the oven and toss them with the sauce—do not cook them further.
