Vanilla Cookies with Orinocense Flour Recipe

Ingredients

     
  • 100 ml of oil
  • 1 egg
  • 120 g of xylitol (sweetener)
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 120 g of Orinocense flour
  • 1 tbsp of coconut milk
  • 120 g of cassava flour (optional – you can use more Orinocense flour instead)
  • 1/2 tsp of baking soda
  • A pinch of salt

Preparation

  • Place the oil, xylitol, vanilla, and egg in the blender.
  • Blend well until the mixture is smooth.
  • Add the Orinocense flour and coconut milk.
  • In another bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and a pinch of salt, then stir.
  • Combine both mixtures gently with a spatula until a manageable dough forms.
  • Lightly oil your hands to make handling the dough easier.
  • Place small dough balls onto a greased baking tray, leaving space between them.
  • Once all balls are placed, gently press them down with your fingers to shape them into cookies.
  • Bake in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for 15 minutes or until they are crispy and soft.
